Universal Renovation came for an estimate to find two problems that the client needed resolved. The first problem was that the client was lacking a decent amount of light in the living room, but didn’t want something that would obstruct the space like an extra light fixture. The second problem was that his ceiling was filled with cracks. We offered a solution that would come in a figure of a box that contained low voltage recessed lights in order not to obstruct the living room’s straight lines. The box was fed electricity from an existing power source which made the renovation a lot easier rather than creating a new electrical line from the main electrical box. The purpose of a good renovation company is to minimize the amount of damage to the walls so that we do not have to plaster a lot of walls because of new remodeling holes that were created in order to run the electrical source. Recess lights are a perfect solution for a New York remodeling contractor and a Plastering Contractor because they keep cost of energy down and at the end of the job they make a beautiful remodeling idea. These lights are usually working on a fifty watt bulb that survives for a very long period of time, they also create a “real” daylight feel and look. On top of that the trim of the fixture could be in different colors, sizes, and tilt. Our solution also allowed light to come in and create bows of lights over the wall. This means that we managed to both bring in this much needed light into the atmosphere of the room and provide a design that stood out from other homes. In order to resolve the cracks in the ceiling we offered to skim coat the ceiling and apply primer and paint.
